The alarm switches to the security alarm
after the security preliminary alarm has
sounded for approximately 60 seconds.
Operation after the alarm has changed to
the security alarm is the same as that for
Security 1 ( Page 166).

The voice message played during

security preliminary alarms can be

disabled. Instead, only a "beep" will be

triggered.

●

Settings options for the security system

alarm time and the security preliminary

alarm time include approx. 30, approx.

60, approx.120 and 0 seconds (off,

immediate), when delay times are

allowed to be changed if "Permit changes

to delay settings: Yes" is set in the

installation setting. ( Pages 108 to 109)

The Security 2 default settings are as

follows.

If the Front Entrance Door is Opened While the Security Alarm is Active

When the Lock Indicator Appears

The event is reported to the building manager room and door phone approximately 100 seconds
(default setting) after the magnet switch activates.
Disarm the security alarm at the base unit if the alarm is a false detection within 100 seconds.
All indicators and icons turn off after the security alarm is disabled. See page 195 for more information
on disarming alarms.

This indicator appears when the lock

LED indicator setting is enabled in

the installation settings.

(The base unit Security SET indicator appears in green while the security alarm is active.)

Press the STOP ALARM button.

●

The Lock OPEN indicator on the base unit is

either flashing or off depending on whether

windows, etc. are open or closed.

How to stop the alarm sound

How to disable the security preliminary alarm

If the front entrance door is opened while the security alarm is active, the magnet switch activates,
and the system triggers the security preliminary alarm.
