Recognizing the DVD Video Camera on your computer (only when it is
connected for the first time)
When you connect the DVD Video Camera to your computer for the first time, a setup operation takes place
so that your computer can recognize the DVD Video Camera. The DVD Video Camera has two modes, a disc
mode which is activated when you set the power switch to
or
, and a card mode which is activated
when you set the power switch to
. It is necessary that your computer recognize both of these modes.
1
Set the power switch of DVD Video Camera to
“
” or “
”, and “
”, and then use the
provided USB cable to connect the DVD Video
Camera to the USB port of PC.
The DVD Video Camera is automatically
recognized by your computer, so there is no need
to carry out any particular operation.
(The standard USB driver contained in
Windows is automatically installed. This
process may take several minutes.)
Read the electronic instruction manuals (on-line manuals) on PC for complete information on using each
software programme.
DVD Video Camera is compatible only with Windows Me/2000/XP. It will not run in other versions of
Windows, such as Windows 98SE.
