[BACKUP INPUT SETTING]
Set the backup function that s w itches the signal to the backup input signal as sea m less as possible w hen input
signal is disrupted.
1) Press

[ENABLE]
S w itches to the secondary input ( pri m ary input ) auto m atically w hen the input signal for pri m ary input
( secondary input ) is disrupted.
[DISABLE] Disables the auto m atic input s w itching function.

The backup function is enabled w hen [BA C KUP INPUT MODE] is set to anything other than [OFF] and sa m e signal is input to the pri m ary
input and the secondary input.

To s w itch to the backup input signal using the backup function, m ake sure that the follo w ing three conditions are satis fi ed to be ready to use
the function.

Set [BA C KUP INPUT MODE] to anything other than [OFF].
g
Input the sa m e signal to the pri m ary and secondary inputs.
g
Display the i m age of the pri m ary input or secondary input.

If the input is s w itched to other than the pri m ary or secondary input w hile the backup function is ready for use, the state of readiness to
use the backup function is canceled. To s w itch to the backup input signal using the backup function again, s w itch to the pri m ary input or
secondary input.

When [BA C KUP INPUT MODE] is set to anything other than [OFF], the co m bination of that input is displayed in [PRIMARY INPUT] and
[SE C ONDARY INPUT] of the [BACKUP INPUT SETTING] screen.

[BA C KUP INPUT STATUS] is displayed in the input guide (

page 1 58 ) and the [STATUS] screen (

pages 9 3 , 1 96 ) w hen [BA C KUP
INPUT MODE] is set to anything other than [OFF].
When the signal can be s w itched to the backup input signal using the backup function, [A C TIVE] is displayed in [BA C KUP INPUT STATUS].
When it is not possible, [INA C TIVE] is displayed instead.
The secondary input w ill be the backup input w hen [BA C KUP INPUT STATUS] is displaying [A C TIVE] w hile the i m age fro m the pri m ary
input is displayed.
The pri m ary input w ill be the backup input w hen [BA C KUP INPUT STATUS] is displaying [A C TIVE] w hile the i m age fro m the secondary
input is displayed.

When [BA C KUP INPUT MODE] is set to anything other than [OFF], the input is s w itched sea m lessly if the input is s w itched bet w een the
pri m ary input and the secondary input w hile it is possible to s w itch to the backup input signal.
