This software can automatically back up data in specified folders, or back up only updated folders to a
DVD-RAM disc, enabling you to protect important files efficiently.
Backed up files can be used directly in Explorer and various applications.

This software enhances the standard Windows GUI by replacing the default icons for removable drives
and CD-ROM drives with customized DVD-RAM icons. Additionally, DVD Agent provides functionality
to automatically launch applications upon insertion of a DVD-RAM disc.

DVD-MovieAlbumSE (DVD-Video Recording software, LF-D321U only)
This software allows you to record and edit DVD-RAM.
Together with the DVD-RAM/R drive, this software provides you with an environment that enables you
to record, edit, and play on your computer discs that follow the DVD Forum’s video recording standards.
You can create discs on your computer that can also be played on compatible DVD recorders and
players; play the images you recorded on a DVD recorder and erase unnecessary parts; create play
lists with simple mouse and keyboard commands; and add or edit titles, plus other editing functions.

A note on discs you create
The discs you create with this unit and DVD-MovieAlbumSE follow the DVD Forum’s video record-
ing standards and can be played on DVD players that can play DVD-RAM and that follow the video
recording standard and on compatible DVD-ROM and DVD-RAM drives . However, play is not
guaranteed on any of these.
You will need software to enable play of video recordings on DVD-RAM and DVD-ROM drives.
WinDVD 3.0 (DVD-Video Playback software)
DVD player software from InterVideo that not only decodes the high quality images on DVD Video and
plays high quality audio, but also lets you play Video CDs. This software supports a variety of DVD
features, such as menu selection and switching of soundtrack and subtitle languages. As well as
controlling play with the player, you can also click directly on the video for even simpler operation.
The player supports the playback control feature found on version 2.0 Video CDs.
The player also automatically determines the type of disc you insert and starts play automatically.

DVDit!
LE (DVD Authoring software)
This software allows you to create DVD-Video format data that includes menus. Use it with MPEG files
that have been either output from an MPEG 2-encoder board or exported from DVD-MovieAlbum.

A note on discs you create
The DVD-R (for General) you create with this unit and DVDit! LE follow the DVD Forum’s video
recording standards and can be played on DVD players that can play DVD-R and on compatible
DVD-ROM and DVD-RAM drives . However, play is not guaranteed on any of these.
You will need software to enable play of DVD-Video on DVD-RAM and DVD-ROM drives.
MotionDV STUDIO 3.0LE (DV capturing and editing software)
This software allows editing of video on digital video equipment connected to the computer. There is
very little degradation of the material because it is digital editing of digital images on a DV tape.
As the images can be output as AVI or MPEG 1/2 files, you can then use DVD-MovieAlbumSE and
DVDit! to edit them.
