Regarding the
Performance factor
:
The Performance factor can be 0.00 – 2.55. How the Performance factor (Pf)
is calculated is shown to the left.
The Performance factor is normally close to 0.00, which means that the
detector is mounted in a "stable" environment. The momentary sensor values
during 24 hours do not differ a lot from the week average sensor value.
In an "unstable" environment the Performance factor will be higher than 0.00.
The momentary sensor values during 24 hours differ a lot from the week
average sensor value. This could for example be the case in a factory (e.g.
"dirty" activities during working hours – no / clean activities during the
night) and is not a problem as long as there are no nuisance (false) alarms or
other problems.

If some other short name is wanted, it can be changed in WinG3. Up to
six characters can be used. In the DBI (Danish) convention, up to five
characters.

Low sensitivity and/or slow detection (35 s) might not fulfil the EN54-7
specifications.
