Starting streaming with an operation from the application software

Select the [NETWORK] menu → [STREAMING] → [START TRIGGER] → [RECEIVER].

Specify the IP address and the path of the camera with the application software as follows, and start streaming.

NOTE
t Perform an operation from the application software to stop streaming.
t Only RTSP is available when starting streaming with an operation from application software.
t For details about the operations to start streaming from the application software, please refer to the manual for each application software.
t Streaming stops when performing operations such as displaying the thumbnail screen or playing back clips on the camera.
t Streaming may stop when the date/time is set while streaming.
Streaming with multicast
One streaming can be distributed to multiple receivers via supported router, etc., when the multicast function is used.

Select the [NETWORK] menu
→
[STREAMING]
→
[START TRIGGER]
→
[RECEIVER(MULTICAST)].

Specify each of the [NETWORK] menu → [STREAMING] → [MULTICAST ADDRESS]/[MULTICAST PORT].
f Set [MULTICAST ADDRESS] within following range.
IPv4: 224.0.1.0 to 239.255.255.254
IPv6: Multicast address starting with FF
f Set [MULTICAST PORT] within the range of 1024 to 50000.

Specify the address of the camera and start streaming with the application software.

NOTE
t Multicast cannot start streaming with the operation on the camera.
t Disable the LAN card not to be used when receiving the multicast image to be displayed on a computer with multiple LAN cards installed.
Starting streaming with an operation on the camera

Select the [NETWORK] menu → [STREAMING] → [START TRIGGER] → [CAMERA].

Set the destination.
For details of setting the destination, refer to “Setting the destination for streaming in the menu of the camera” (page 197) or “Referring to the
memory card for the destination of streaming” (page 197).
