4.1.5.5 Selecting the Proportional Band
CAUTION!
Improper temperature controls settings can seriously degrade the performance of the instrument.
Never change these settings without specific instructions from the factory.
Enter the temperature control menu, as described on page 34, and proceed as follows:
Note: See page 5 for a discussion of the proportional band.
Note: The [Setpoint], [Sensor Temp], [Int Time]
,
[Max.Duty Cycle] and [Default] options are also available in the above
list box.
At the next prompt, enter the desired value for the proportional band.
The meter now automatically returns to the “Temp. Control” prompt. Either press
[ESC]
until you exit the User Program
or proceed to the appropriate section to continue setting up the temperature control.
