3.2.4 POWER FAULT LED On - 5645 Displays Power Fault

Procedure

Follow this procedure if the 5645 POWER FAULT LED lights
during operation:

Internal failure.

Contact Pacific

Scientific.

Remove 120 V ac and

then the motor connector

(J1).

Warning

Do not disconnect the
motor connector with power
still connected. The motor
terminals contain
hazardous voltage when
power is connected.

Reapply power, POWER

FAULT LED goes off?

Cable or internal

failure. Contact

Pacific Scientific.

5645 power fault fixed.

Yes

Check cables for shorts.

Check connections per

sections 2.5.1 and 2.5.2.

Reconnect cables.

Reapply power. POWER

FAULT LED goes off?
