Video and Capture Card Related Faults and Fixes

There are a variety of different faults that may occur when running an IDR-X016. Some of these faults are
as follows:

If this dialog box appears when Smart Guard is starting there is either a software or hardware problem with
the capture board.

Hardware Problems:

No standby 5 volts supplied to card.

Incorrect PCI Slot.

Software Problems:

The Smart Capture card driver has not been installed correctly.

The incorrect version of Smart Capture driver has been installed.

As displayed in this image of the IDR Capture card, you can see that there is a 5 volt connection and a 5
volt indication LED. The 5 volt connection should be connected to either a five volt standby voltage or a
Wake On Lan connector on the mother board. The 5 volts must be available when the system is in off
mode. The LED indicates whether 5 volts is connected or not.
