MART BACKUP
:
Before using Smart backup, depending on which media is being used, normally the media must be
initialized first to enable the system to recognize the media.
Below is a guide on how to initialize different types of media. You can also use other hard drives if
required to be used as backup media.
Using a DVD RAM Drive.
Pre-formatting the media is required for the system to recognize this. In Windows:
Go to DVDForm.
Make sure the blank DVD Media is in the drive.
Click Start. This will format the DVD Media so that Windows can read it. Always use UDF for the format
type.
Once complete, click Close. Turn the DVD Media over and do the same thing on the other side.
This media is now initialized and ready for use for the system.
The DVD RAM media can be used for backups or straight AVI Exports. It can hold 4.7gb Per Side.
