ETTING UP THE BANKS
:
Once a Hard disk drive has been formatted the “Banks” will need to be installed on the Hard disk.
This setup is the same for a Post machine and a Base machine.
NOTE; When setting up Banks on a base machine, only install the required banks or the IbankSetup will try
to fill the entire hard disk drive available.
The banks are a file structure that allocates the files to the hard disk drives.
Regardless of if the unit has been setup for the first time or has images recorded, the banks are still the
same size on the HDD.
This process of allocating the files to the HDD eliminates the need to perform HDD maintenance.
To setup the banks there are two ways in which to access the Bank setup program.
The first way is via the standard Windows, Start, Programs, IDR2016 and finally IbankSetup.
This will launch a program that will allow you to begin the bank setup.
