The IbankSetup program will list all the hard disk drives that are available, the available banks that can be
allocated to the HDD’s and list the existing banks.
By highlighting a selected hard disk drive, you are able to select the total amounts of banks to be allocated
for each drive. This is done by the “New Ibank # of the selected HDD;” input window.
The “ADD” button will create the banks on the hard disk drives. Once completed, the IbankSetup program
will list all the Banks allocated.
The “Clear” button will clear all the video on the banks. Once this has been done you cannot retrieve the
video.
The “Exit” button will end the IbankSetup program.
Warning;-You cannot allocate more than 2000 banks per drive letter. If you allocate more than 2000 banks
per drive letter the IDR will write to these banks but you will not be able to retrieve the video. The
maximum DISK size for the required banks is 120gb.
The second way to get access to the IbankSetup program is from the Smart Shell program.
As discussed in the chapter “Getting to Windows from the IDR software” you will need to get to
“Smartshell”. This is the program that overlays on Windows.
By performing a “Right Clicking” on the Smartshell screen a menu will appear.
Select Execute then SmartSetup. This will then startup the IbankSetup program.
