How to connect WebGuard

Start the Web browser (Internet Explorer) in your local PC and enter the IP address of the IDR
system in the location/address filed. The WebGuard is run automatically. Note: If setting up through the
internet, you will need a public IP address. Port 8016 must be opened to allow WebGuard traffic.

e: WebGuard is not available in Netscape.

Web Sever

The IDR itself includes a personal web sever. If you do not want to run a web sever, stop it
after pressign

Setup Web Sever...

under System tab of Setup dialog box in SmartGuard mode

Personal Web Server comes pre installed on all digital recorders that are supported by Webguard.
