17. COMMUNICATION FUNCTION
This flowmeter is capable of monitoring measurement value, logging and saving of instant flow rate in CSV
format. In addition, changing, saving, etc. of parameters locally or remotely is available by the use of dedicated
communication software "LinkTop for MAG-OVAL" to be purchased separately. For the handling of the
communication software, refer to the instruction manual of "LinkTop for MAG-OVAL".

As the flowmeter has no built-in terminating resistor, attach a terminating resistor of 120Ω/0.5W at the line
terminating section.
NOTES: *1: RS485 communication interface is not supplied with the flowmeter. Use the RS485-USB
converting adapter available on the market.
*2: As communication baud rate is low with the Bell202 communication spec., the shortest logging
period is 1 second.
