15. HIGH/LOW ALARM
This function activates an alarm when flow rate reading is out of the set range. High/Low alarm can be
enabled by assigning the function to [AL.Fun]. To perform settings related to high/low alarm, go to
[ALArm] sub-menu.
■ Alarm high limit and alarm low limit
Set the flow rate threshold for alarm. When the flow rate is above the high limit, or below the low limit,
an alarm will be generated.
■ Alarm hysteresis
To avoid chattering when the flow rate is near high/low limits, hysteresis can be added. When the flow
rate is above the high limit, the alarm will be canceled once the flow rate is below [alarm high limit
setting] - [hysteresis setting]. Likewise, when the flow rate is below the low limit, the alarm will be
canceled once the flow rate is above [alarm low limit setting] + [hysteresis setting].

■ Alarm dead time
Alarm output is not generated for the set duration (second) even when the flow rate reading satisfies
the alarm condition.
