Overview

Perfect Pick® Cortex™ Operator Manual

OPEX Corporation

Perfect Pick/Cortex software

- provides totes to the operator. The Cortex

monitor informs the operator what action to take. Typically it is one of three
actions: remove product from the Perfect Pick and place them into the
designated container (PICK mode), remove product from the Workstation
container(s) to restock the Perfect Pick (PUT mode), or count the product
contained within the Perfect Pick totes (COUNT mode). See

“Perfect Pick”

for more information.

6.

Outgoing conveyor

- once orders are filled, or the Perfect Pick has been

replenished, the containers automatically move to the back of the
workstation and advance to the outgoing conveyor. This conveyor has one
“integration” zone with a sensor used to detect that items are properly
exiting the Cortex system to the customer’s conveyor system (
