9. Operation
1.) The battery must be fully charged for correct operation.
You will find the charging time in section 11.2. The UPS
system can also be used immediately without charging,
however in this case the power backup time may be
shorter than the nominal value stated.
2.) Prior to operation it must be ensured the output voltage
from the UPS system matches the input voltage on the
computer connected (as a rule 230V). The output voltage
from the UPS system can be set on the control panel or
using the software.
3.) The computer is to be connected to the UPS output socket
using the 10A extension cable supplied.
ATTENTION:
Do not connect any devices to the UPS output
sockets that will overload the UPS (e.g. laser
printers). Also do not connect any household ap-
pliances to the UPS.
9.1 Operating modes
ZINTO A has two operating modes: normal mode and battery
mode .
1.) Normal mode:
The UPS system operates in the normal mode if the primary
supply voltage is within the stipulated tolerance. During this
process the built-in battery charging rectifier keeps the battery
fully charged. At the same time the inverter is in the ready
mode.
