Basic Operating Procedure

A basic outline of the procedures required to install the CX-Position and Fins-
Gateway, create data, transfer it to the NC Units, and use in actual operation
is given below.

Method for connect-
ing to PC

• Connected to the RS-232C port on the CPU Unit or a

Serial Communications Board/Unit using an RS-232C
cable.

• Connected to the peripheral port on the CPU Unit

using a peripheral cable, or via Ethernet.

Connected to the RS-232C port on the
CPU Unit using an RS-232C cable.
