Operation

SAA2
multifunctional
Safety Accessory
before putting it into
operation as described later in this chapter.
The
SAA2
multifunctional
Safety Accessory
consists of a control unit and up to six signal lamps. The
SAA2
control unit has its own power supply and the
SAA2
control unit serves as a power supply for all connected
SAA2
signal lamps (see Figure 10 on page 26). Place the control unit near the main device and fix all signal
lamps close to the test object. The signal lamps must be well-visible for all relevant operators but be safe
from the impact of high voltages or currents.
The
SAA2
system is active when the control unit is powered, the connection to the
SAFETY
output of the
main device is established and the main device’s
Safety Connector Dongle
is plugged into the
