OMICRON
In case of
VOTANO 100
connect the
SAB1
to the
SAFETY
output connector of the last daisy
chained
SAA2
.
NOTE!
For
CIBANO 500
and
TESTRANO 600
connect
SAA2
only to the
SAFETY OUT 1
connector
of the main device.
WARNING
Death or severe injury caused by high voltage or current possible.
Only use the delivered cables to connect the control unit to the main device
and the signal lamps to each other or to the control unit.
6. Connect the
SAA2
signal lamps to the
CH 1
and/or
CH 2
connector(s) of the control unit with the
connection cable. You can cascade up to six lamps in any channel combination according to the
wiring diagram on the bottom of the control unit. Then the signal lamps should flash alternatively in
green and red.
7. Terminate any free
CH 1
or
CH 2
connectors on the
SAA2
control unit and the free connectors on
the
SAA2
signal lamps with the
SAA2
dongles.

8. Connect the
SAFETY IN
connector of the control unit to the
SAFETY
connector of
the main device
with the safety interface cable and firmly tighten the locking thumb screws. Then the signal lamps
should light with the same color as the signal light on the main device (see Table 3 for detailed
information).
9. Unlock the
Emergency Stop
button on the main device or test system and unlock the main device
with the key or via screen (
CIBANO 500 and COMPANO 100
do not have a lock). If all signal lamps
light continuously green, the main device/test system is ready for operation.
10. With the controls on the front panel of the control unit, you can set following options: beeper on/off,
red light continuous or flashing and light intensity. See Figure 6.
