If the light source will not be used for a long time, store it according to the following instructions. Also,
clean the light source as described in Section 7.1, “Care” before storage.
CAUTION
Do not store the light source in locations exposed to direct sunlight, X-rays,
radioactivity, or strong electromagnetic radiation (e.g., in the vicinity of a microwave
therapeutic equipment, MRI, short-wave therapeutic equipment, radio equipment,
or cellular/portable phone). Damage to the light source may result.
7.2 Storage

Confirm that the light source is OFF.

Confirm that the power cord is disconnected from the hospital-grade wall mains outlet.

Disconnect the power cord from the power inlet
of the light source.

NOTE
The plug of the power cord that follows the equipment may vary from this drawing,
as in each country the commercialized cable is in accordance to the local
applicable norm.

Disconnect all ancillary equipment connected to the light source.

Store the equipment at room temperature in the horizontal position in a clean, dry, and
stable location.
