WARNING
When turning ON the light source, never allow the distal end of an endoscope or a
light guide cable to come in contact with the patient and/or other flammable
materials, such as operating room drapes. Patient injury and/or a fire can result.
NOTE
When the video system center is connected, either the light source or the video
system center can be turned ON first.
5.3 Turning the light source ON and igniting the
examination lamp

Confirm that the light guide connector or light guide is connected to the output socket
of the light source.

Press the power switch of the light source to turn it ON and the power indicator lights
up. Also, the examination lamp lights up and the lamp indicator “ON” on the control
panel lights up.
