Inspection of automatic brightness adjustment
WARNING
When disconnecting the camera head from the endoscope without turning the
examination lamp OFF, make sure that the brightness mode indicator is set to
“MANU” and that the brightness is set to the minimum using the brightness button.
If the camera head is disconnected while the brightness mode indicator is set to
“AUTO”, the intense light may cause eye injury.

Confirm that the endoscope is connected to the light source and the video system
center, and that both are turned ON.
CAUTION
If the video system center is not turned ON, the automatic brightness adjustment
does not function, and the brightness may be insufficient.

Press the lamp button on the control panel: the
examination lamp is ignited.
