Select the optical adapter to use, and press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
TIP:
If the optical adapter is replaced during observation, reselect the new optical adapter on the
menu screen.

4.2 Checking the remaining battery level and the remaining
external battery level
If the battery and/or the external battery (both or alone) is connected to this instrument, the
indicator that shows remaining battery level and/or the remaining external battery level is
displayed at the top right corner of the LCD monitor. The indicator is displayed in green when the
power is supplied by the battery or the external battery, and it is displayed in white when the
power is not supplied by the battery or the external battery. The indicator is displayed in red
when the remaining battery level and/or the remaining external battery level is low. The
estimated remaining battery level and/or the remaining external battery level are shown below.

out during these operations, data could be corrupted.
*2 If the battery indicator or the external battery indicator brinks, quickly turn OFF the power and
replace with the filled up battery or external battery, or connect the AC adapter.
If you continue to use the instrument without connecting the AC adapter, the power will be
shut down and may cause damage to the recorded data.
