4.17 Detecting when pulling out the bent angulation section

When the insertion tube is pulled out from the inspection object while the angulation section is
bent, the message appears or the remote control unit vibrates.

TIP:

When the drum unit is rotated in the winding direction, it is detected that the insertion tube is
pulled out while the angulation section is bent.

1.

Display <SCOPE PROTECTION> in the <SYSTEM SETUP> menu on the live screen.

2.

Select <ON>.

NOTE:

l

If the following message appears during inspection, display the angulation operation button
on the LCD monitor and tap the center of the screen to center the distal end, or press the
[CENT] button on the remote control unit to center the distal end.

l

<PLEASE CENTER THE DISTAL END BY PRESSING THE CENTER BUTTON.>

l

If you want to vibrate the remote control unit at the same time when the message appears,
set the <REMOTE CONTROLLER VIBRATION> menu to <ON>.
