Problem

Cause and recommended action

This instrument cannot be
operated with the remote
control unit.

The remote control unit is not attached properly.

→Remove the remote control unit from the base unit and attach
it again properly.

The noise appears on the
external monitor or the
image is interrupted.

The instrument is affected by ambient electromagnetic wave or
static electricity.

→Disconnect the HDMI cable from the external monitor and
connect it again.

8.2 Requesting repair of this product

Contact Olympus when you request repair of this instrument.

Include a detailed description of the malfunction and the conditions under which it occurs when
returning the instrument.

Malfunctions that occur during the warranty period are repaired at no charge according to the
warranty agreement. Be sure to attach the warranty agreement when returning the instrument for
repairs. The repair will be charged if the warranty agreement is not attached. The freight fees are
paid by the user even if repairs are done free of charge.

Olympus will not repair an instrument contaminated by noxious substances.
