Preparation of the hook assembly

Inspecting the hook assembly

WARNING

•

Be extra careful when handling the hook assembly to avoid connecting your eye with the tip.

CAUTION

•

Be sure to inspect the hook assembly every time it is used. If you suspect an anomaly, use a
spare.

•

Do not loosen the hook once it is attached to the spring shaft. If the hook is loose, replace it
with a new one. A loose hook can easily fall off (see “

Attaching the hook to the spring shaft”

Take out the hook assembly from the hook assembly housing in the
carrying case. Take care when extending the hook assembly so that
it does not hook something.
