Chapter 8 Storage and maintenance

8.6

Storage precautions

Store the equipment under normal room temperature and humidity conditions.

DANGER

•

Do not bend, stretch, twist or crush cables with excessive force. Otherwise, a break in a 
cable may result in a fire or electric shock hazard.

CAUTION

•

Do not store the equipment in a place subject to high temperature, high humidity, excessive 
dust or fine particles, direct sunlight or radioactive emissions. Doing so could damage the 
equipment.

•

The performance of some kind of electric parts will be deteriorated by the gas including the 
halide contained in the insecticide, the herbicide, and the gas extinguishant, etc. Do not store 
the equipment in a place subject to the gas including halide. Doing so could damage the 
equipment.

•

Do not handle the equipment roughly or hit it against other objects when storing it. Doing so 
may cause a malfunction.

Turn the [POWER] button off and remove the battery and the AC 
adapter from the base unit.

2

Store the equipment on a level surface in a clean, dry and stable 
place.
