Chapter 6 Measurement procedures
Displaying the measurement results
If the measurement mode is distance, point to line, offset, or depth, up to three of
the most recent measurement results are displayed. The object distance mark
(
„ ) indicates the object distance of measurement point. This is displayed to the
right side of the measured value. If the measurement mode is area/lines, multi,
or profile, only one measurement result is displayed.
Zoom display
When tilting the [ZOOM] lever toward [T] while using stereo measurement, the
image around the current position of the cursor and the corresponding point are
displayed in both the cursor zoom window and the corresponding point zoom
window. When the cursor zoom window is displayed, tilting the [MEAS/ENTER]
joystick moves the zoomed image, and the cursor position can be specified.
To change the zoom ratio, use the [ZOOM] lever. The zoom ratio can be set to
2X, 3X or 4X. Tilting the lever toward [T] increases the zoom ratio and tilting it
toward [W] decreases the zoom ratio.
When the lever is tilted toward [W] while the zoom ratio is 2X, the cursor zoom
window and the corresponding point zoom window disappear. If the
measurement mode is profile, zoom is not displayed.
Sub-pixel pointing
Sub-pixel pointing specifies finely cursor position at a narrower interval than pixel
interval of an original image.
Zoom display automatically activates this function, moving cursor a narrower
interval of pixel.
Re-specifying a measurement point
Select “CLEAR” in the menu to delete measurement points specified by mistake.
Re-specifying all measurement points
If you want to restart the measurement point specification in an image from the
beginning, select “ALL CLEAR” in the menu.
