Service Manual

REPLACING THE X AXIS MOTOR AND IDLE PULLEY

Before attempting any of the operations described in this Chapter, first power off the machine and disconnect it
from the electrical outlet.

Unmount the upper body and the right or left side panel as described in the Chapter

”UNMOUNTING THE

UPPER BODY AND PANELS”

depending on which side of the printer you need to work.

Unmount the belt of the X axis as shown in the

”X axis belt replacement”

video clip.

Unscrew the two hex screws (4 mm) fastening the idle pulley assembly.

Cut the strap and extract the quick connector of the motor from its sheath. Unscrew and disconnect the
motor wire.
