STEP 13:
Reinstall the blade guard
assembly.
STEP 14:
Reinstall the table insert.
B.
FENCE AND SAW BLADE
ALIGNMENT
To check the alignment,
STEP 1:
Remove the blade guard (See
page 17 C. BLADE GUARD
ASSEMBLY).
STEP 2:
Raise saw blade all the way up
to its maximum height.
STEP 3:
Set the bevel to 0
°
angle.
STEP 4:
Slide the fence towards the
saw blade and contact the saw blade
as shown in
FIG. 47
.
STEP 5:
Check to see if they are
parallel to each other. If they are not,
continue STEP 6.
STEP 6:
Adjust the screws under the
rail/fence as shown in
FIG. 48
to align
the fence to the saw blade.
STEP 7:
Once adjustment is down,
reinstall the blade guard.
DISCONNECT THE MACHINE FROM
POWER BEFORE FOLLOWING THE
STEPS!
FENCE MUST ALIGNE TO SAW BLADE
TO PREVENT RISK OF KICKBACK
DURING OPERATION.
