• Setting up key exchange

In the IP Security Policy Properties window, select the [General] tab.

Click [Settings].

In the [Key Exchange Settings] window, input a value (in minutes) for the
interval in [Authenticate and generate a new key after every].
•
Specify the same value as [LifeTime] specified in the "Phase 1 Proposal" setting in ''Setting up this machine''.
[LifeTime] is specified in seconds, but in this procedure, input a value in minutes.

Click [Methods].

In the [Key Exchange Security Methods] window, click [Add].

Specify [Integrity Algorithm], [Encryption Algorithm], and [Diffie-Hellman
Group].

Select the same value as the one specified in [IKE Encryption Algorithm], [IKE Hash Algorithm] and [Diffie-
Hellman Group] when setting "Phase 1 Proposal" in "Setting up this machine".

Click [OK].

In the [Key Exchange Security Methods] window, click [OK].

In the [Key Exchange Settings] window, click [OK].
• Setting IP Filtering

In the IP Security Policy Properties window, select the [Rule] tab.

Click [Add].

Click [Next] in [Security Rule Wizard].

In the [Tunnel Endpoint] screen, select [This rule does not specify a
tunnel], and click [Next].

In the [Network Type] screen, select [All network connections], and click
[Next].

In the [IP Filter List] screen, click [Add].

In the [IP Filter List] window, click [Add].

In [IP Filter Wizard], click [Next].

In the [IP Filter Description and Mirroring Property] screen, click [Next].

In the [IP Traffic Sources] screen, click [Next].
