Clear the staple jams
Introduction
Task for: key operator
The stapler has a maximum capacity of 80 sheets of paper or sets not thicker
than 7 mm. When a staple error occurs, a message appears on the screen of the
operator panel. Follow the instructions on the screen to correct the problem.

The off-line stapler can staple sets with a maximum stack size of 7 mm
(80 g/m

.
When there is a problem in the stapler, replace the stapler cartridge. Use the
method described in the procedure Add the staples to correct a staple jam.
Remove any loose staples. Make sure that the staples do not fall into the Océ
VarioPrint 2090 . Keep the stapler cartridge which caused the problems. Give
the stapler cartridge to the Océ service technician.
Note:
After you correct the problem, the event can occur that the stapler does
not staple the next two or three sets.
