Note:
If the key operator locked the paper compartment and finisher, you can
not clear the paper jams in these sections. Call the key operator to unlock the
door.

Possible locations of the paper jams
Paper jams can occur in various stages of the print process.
[21] Locations of the paper jams
Location Description
Automatic
document feeder The operator must open the top cover of the automatic
document feeder to solve the paper jam.
Note:
the operator must also check the glass plate for
originals.
Paper trays The operator must open the paper trays if the LED blinks
rapidly and check for paper jams.

The operator must open the front doors of the Océ
VarioPrint 2090 .

The operator must check four paper path covers,
marked with the labels C1-4.
Note:
The user can only open cover C2 when C1 is
closed.
Paper path The operator must open the front doors of the Océ
VarioPrint 2090 to access the areas marked with the
labels A1 and B1-3.
Note:
The paper path cover A1 is difficult to reach. A
small lamp switches on when an error is detected. The
lamp improves the visibility of area A.
Note:
When removing jammed paper from section A1 you
may accidentally touch two rubber wheels that rotate
slowly. This is not dangerous, but it can surprise you.
