Inserting a Color Image into a Designated Area (Image Composition) 5-6
[Image Priority]: The entire image will be copied into the area where the
image is to be inserted.
[Area Priority]: The image will be trimmed to fill up the entire area where the
image is to be inserted.

Specifying Image Priority will result in blank space being created either on the top
and bottom or left and right sides of the inserted area.
If you are reducing the image, the image will be copied with priority given to the
higher reduction ratio between X (left-right) and Y (top-bottom). Conversely, priority
will be given to the lower enlargement ratio when enlarging the image.

Specifying Area Priority will result in the image’s bottom or left side being cut off
when it is inserted into the designated area.

Specifying different vertical-horizontal copy ratios

Press [XY Zoom]; then press [X] and [Y] to enter their respective copy ratio
values.
Enter each copy ratio after pressing [X] and [Y], using the number keys on the
touch panel display.
You can change the entered value with [-] or [+].
If you want to set the copy ratio automatically based on the size of the area for
insertion, press [Auto].
To return to the screen for specifying a copy ratio that maintains the image’s
aspect ratio (same XY ratio), press [Zoom].

Specifying different vertical-horizontal copy ratios can prevent the image from
being cut off after insertion, as well as avoid the creation of blank space in the
insertion area.
