Centering the Copied Image

(Center Shift)

Once the size of an original is determined by the Original Recognition function, its
image is copied into the center of the paper.

NOTE

.

•

The Center Shift function is turned on by default.

•

If the Original Recognition function is turned off, the Center Shift function is also
automatically disabled when you perform copying with Shift functions in the Special
Features mode.

•

Center Shift can also be specified through the Shift function. (See “Shifting the Original
Image (Shift),” on p. 2-17.)

•

No shifting is carried out if the original and the paper are of the same size and the copy
ratio is set to 100%.
