Place the original with the texture or pattern to be scanned on
the platen glass.

IMPORTANT

The feeder (option) cannot be used to scan originals for texture or pattern.

Press [Scan].

The pattern or the texture is scanned, and the display returns to the Image
Creation screen.

Press [Done]

[Done].

The setting is speciﬁed and the display returns to the Basic Features screen.

Place the original to be copied on the platen glass.

Copying starts.

NOTE

.

•

The scanned texture is lost when the power is turned off (including the Auto Power
Off function). If necessary, scan the pattern or the texture again after turning the
power on again.
