Put the butter in a container and leave it at room temperature for 30-40 minutes to be sufficiently smooth for spreading. Preheat the oven to
250 degrees.
Grind garlic and parsley until powdery and add to butter. Use a fork to blend to homogeneous herb butter. Add olive oil and mix.
Cut bread in slices and spread both sides with the butter and put the slices on a grid in the oven and heat until they have got a golden colour
(approx. 5 minutes).
Herb salad
7.5 dl romaine lettuce, cut
7.5 dl fresh spinach, cut
2.5 dl watercress
1.25 dl shred carrots
1.25 dl oil
0.5 dl vinegar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon dried garlic
½ teaspoon dried celery leaves
½ teaspoon dried lemon balm leaves
½ teaspoon dried chives
Mix lettuce, watercress and spinach in a bowl. Put dried herbs in a blender and mix until powdery.
To make dressing, pour vinegar in a bottle type container suitable for mixing salad dressings and add herbs, salt and pepper. Cover and shake.
Slowly add oil and shake again. Immediately sprinkle over salad greens and blend together. Garnish with shred carrots on top.
Vegetable juice drink
0.5 dl dried tomatoes
2 tablespoons dried carrots
2 tablespoons dried celery
1 tablespoon dried onion
½ tablespoon dried parsley
6 dl hot water
Salt
Use only well- dried, thin-sliced vegetables. Mix dried vegetables and grind until powdery. Add 5 dl hot water and let the vegetables rehydrate
for 15-25 seconds. Add 1 dl more of water and blend until liquefied. Add salt if you want to and stir.
Pour into glasses and keep them cold if you want cold drinks.
Fruit tea
2-3 dl dried mixed fruits
5-7 dl water
Sugar or honey
Pour water in a saucepan and let it heat to boiling point. Remove from the stove and add fruits. Stir and put on a lid. Simmer for about 15
minutes. Remove from the stovetop and leave it for about 5 minutes. Remove the lid and pass it through a tea strainer. Add sugar or honey.
The tea can be served cold or hot.
