The folders Release, Debug, and the settings are now created in the project structure as shown in 

Figure 8-3

.

Repeater.bin

 file is placed at the following directory location:

[Project Directory]\Release\Exe\

4. Load the 

Repeater

 file to the board. Click the IAR Debug button to download the application to the 

board.

5. Use a PC terminal communications program, such as Hyper Terminal, and set the correct baud rate, 

data bits, parity, COM port, and flow control. 

Figure 8-4

 shows the default MC1322x SMAC 

RS232 settings.
