ALARMS CAUSES
EFFECTS
The coffee grounds count has reached the programmed
level.
The coffee grounds count has exceeded the program-
med value by 10 units
The electronic control unit has noted that the front door
is open.
The upper motor mechanism has exceeded the maxi-
mum programmed time to reach the upper micro posi-
tion.
The upper motor mechanism has exceeded the maxi-
mum programmed time to reach the lower micro posi-
tion.
The lower motor mechanism has exceeded the maxi-
mum programmed time to reach the upper micro posi-
tion.
The lower motor mechanism has exceeded the maxi-
mum programmed time to reach the lower micro posi-
tion.
The CPU has detected the closure of microswitches
which should not be closed at the same time during the
waiting phase
No impulses have arrived from the volumetric meter for
a time exceeding 6 seconds.
The infusion has exceeded the maximum limit of 2 mi-
nutes. This alarm is the logical consequence of a non-
reset volumetric meter alarm.
The filling of the steam boiler has exceeded the imposed
time limit of 60/90 seconds.
The CPU has detected that the pressostat which controls
the water is open.
The temperature of the water in the coffee boiler (TEMC-
CAF) has exceeded the preset value (xx degrees over the
programmed value).
The temperature of the coffee unit has exceeded the pre-
set value (xx degrees over the programmed value).
The activation of the water heating in the coffee boiler
(RISCCAF) has exceeded the established safety time-
out. The time concerned is of 3 minutes when the tem-
perature measured is higher than the operating value
but lower than the programmed value.
If the temperature measured is between 5
°
C and the
operating value, the time out is 15 minutes.
The heating of the coffee unit has exceeded the establis-
hed safety time-out. The time concerned is of 3 minutes
when the temperature measured is higher than the ope-
rating value but lower than the programmed value.
If the temperature measured is between 5
°
C and the
operating value, the time out is 15 minutes.
The machine has reached the preset number of cycles or
maintenance date
A 5 second sound alarm is provided at the end of each
cycle when the alarm is present
The CPU has detected inconsistent data in the data me-
mory.

RESET
With the machine on, remove the coffee grounds drawer, empty it and put it
back in place. This operation should take place in a time of not less than 7
seconds.
With the machine on, remove the coffee grounds drawer, empty it and put it
back in place. This operation should take place in a time of not less than 7
seconds.
Close the door.
Turning the machine off and then on again, the group POSITIONING CYCLE
is initiated. If the upper piston reaches the upper position, the alarm is reset;
otherwise the alarm is repeated and the lower piston is not activated.
Turning the machine off and then on again, the group POSITIONING CYCLE
is initiated. If the upper piston reaches the lower position, the tablet is expel-
led and the alarm is reset; otherwise the alarm is repeated and the lower pi-
ston is not activated.

otherwise the alarm is repeated and the upper piston is not activated.
Turning the machine off and then on again, the group POSITIONING CYCLE
is initiated. If the lower piston reaches the lower position, the alarm is reset;
otherwise the alarm is repeated and the upper piston is not activated.
Turn power off, check the correct functioning of the unit microswitch move-
ment and turn the machine on again.
Automatically, when the impulses resume, or by carrying out a new selec-
tion after having stopped the one in progress.
Press button 0-1 or select a new dose.
Press button 0-1: the machine initiates the “SWITCHING ON AND STARTING
UP” procedure.
Turn the machine off, check that the water pressure is not lower than the
specified value of the pressostat. Turn the machine on again and press but-
ton 0-1: the machine will initiate the “SWITCHING ON AND STARTING UP”
cycle.
If the machine is not connected to the water mains it is necessary to bypass
the pressostat
Let the temperature return to within the allowed limits, then press button 0-
1: the machine initiates the “switching on and starting up” procedure.
Let the temperature return to within the allowed limits, then press button 0-
1: the machine initiates the “switching on and starting up” procedure.
Check the temperature probe and the heating element. Turn the machine on
and press button 0-1: the machine will initiate the “SWITCHING ON AND
STARTING UP” cycle.
Turn the machine off, check the temperature probe and the heating element,
then turn the machine on again and press the button 0-1: the machine ini-
tiates the “switching on and starting up” procedure.
Resetting the machine cycles in the function “reading system data - mainte-
nance cycles” with key U/15 inserted.
The number of the litres of water consumed by the machine can be reset in
the function “reading system data - maintenance cycles” with key U15 inser-
ted.
Carry out the Preset procedure
NOTES
1. Turning the machine off and then on again without emptying the grounds drawer will not re-
set the alarm.
2. If the pre-established value has not been reached and the grounds drawer is removed for
more than 7 seconds, the grounds count is reset to zero anyway.
A 1 second sound signal at the end of the cycle in progress is provided.
Once this alarm has been activated 10 more coffee selections can still be activated, after which
the machine will activate the GROUNDS DRAWER BLOCKED ALARM.
1. Turning the machine off and then on again without emptying the grounds drawer, will not re-
set the alarm.
2. If the pre-established value has not been reached and the grounds drawer is removed for
more than 7 seconds, the grounds count is reset to zero anyway.
A 1 second sound signal at the end of the cycle in progress is provided.
By closing the door the alarm is reset and the system returns to “0”- Machine OFF.
On opening the door, a 1 second sound signal is provided.
.
By setting the number of cycles at 0, the alarm will be disabled.
By setting a date well into the future, the alarm will not be activated.
There is a 5 second audible signal at the end of every cycle when the alarm is present.
By setting the number of litres to 0, the alarm is disabled.
There is a 5 second audible signal at the end of every cycle when the alarm is present.
