1, 2 & 3. Terminals
Main terminals (1), (2) & (3) are provided for a licensed electrician to connect
field wiring to an external load. All terminals are labelled.
7. Safety Micro Switch
The micro switch (7) is fitted in the field wiring box. If the Perspex door is
opened, it will automatically shut down the engine. This safety switch is wired in
series with the emergency stop, and will display an emergency stop alarm.
8. MEN Link
The MEN connection terminals (5) & (6) are provided to facilitate simple
connection and disconnection of the MEN Link. T he MEN Link (8) is connected
on the alternator side of the toroids for the earth leakage protection. If the
load side has another MEN Link connected, the generator side MEN Link must
be disconnected. A spare terminal (4) , is provided. The earth leakage relay
must also be bypassed (in the control cabinet).
This operation must only be done by a licensed electrician.
