How to View the Indicator Display (Rear Panel Display)
Incoming calls/received mails and alarm notifications are displayed on the indicator display with messages or
animations.
● Example
Checking missed calls/new mails
When there is a missed call or new mail (i-mode mail and SMS), new chat mail with the FOMA terminal folded,
the incoming call lamp keeps on flashing. At this time, you can check the information about the missed call by
pressing
a
( ) or
s
(MEMO/CHECK) with the FOMA terminal folded.
● Checking with
a
( )
■ When there is a missed call
The received date and time and the name stored in
the phonebook, etc. are displayed.
・ If the caller is not stored in the phonebook, the
phone number is displayed. Depending on the
situation, “User unset” or “Payphone” appears.
・
When there are multiple missed calls, you can
check up to three missed calls with
a
( ).

When there is a new mail
“NEW MESSAGE” is displayed.
・ When “Mail” of “Indicator display” is set to “ON”,
“Received date/sender/subject” are displayed as a
ticker.

Checking with

(MEMO/CHECK)
Missed calls or new mails are notified with sound or
voice according to the “Info notice setting”. Also, a
notification animation is displayed.

<Example of missed calls>
Flashing of the incoming call lamp
● When there is a missed call, new mail or new
chat mail, the incoming call lamp keeps on
flashing in the color set in “Illumination”.
Phone/Videophone: Color 5 (green)
New mail: Color 1 (blue)
New chat mail: Color 3 (light blue)

When there is one missed call, new mail or new
chat mail, the lamp lights up once. When there
are two of them, the lamp lights up twice, and
when there are three of them, the lamp lights up
three times.

Flashing color and conditions
＞
・
The lamp does not flash when the missed info
of “Illumination” is set to “OFF”.
・ The lamp flashes in the default color when
gradation is set in “Illumination”.
・
When the color is set for the caller/sender in
the phonebook, the lamp flashes in the
specified color.
・ The lamp does not flash in Public mode
(Driving mode).
＜ To turn off the lamp ＞
・ Select the icon of “Missed call”, “New mail” or
“Chat mail” in the display to check the
contents, or press

(1 second or longer).

When the Received calls record is locked by Original lock, the phone number or name are not displayed.

When “Mail” of “Indicator display” is set to “ON” and you receive multiple mails at the same time, you can check the latest three new
