(information service provider) via the internet and may be
disclosed to the third party as a result.

If you download software that uses the FOMA terminal’s
communication functions or that can be set as a standby
screen, the Software setting screen appears. After selecting
the settings for the downloaded software, launch or select the

ppli (if you press

, the settings are discarded).

If you download software you have downloaded once using a
different FOMA card (UIM), a message appears asking
whether to overwrite the software.

ppli mail” refers to mail sent by a mail-connected

ppli mail contains i-

ppli data that

enables the mail to be automatically saved in i-

folders.

You may not be able to download the Osaifu-Keitai i-

α

ppli

depending on the data capacity of the IC card even when
there is a space in the storage area. Follow the confirmation
screen, delete the displayed software and download again.
You may not be able to delete the software depending on the
software type you are going to download. Depending on the
software, the software itself is deleted after the software is
launched and data in the IC card is deleted.
