106 Using the Phonebook
<Automatic display>
Using One-touch Dialing to Call Favorites
This function allows you to set up your FOMA terminal to display the preset phone number when you open the
folded FOMA terminal with the standby screen. You can then make a voice or videophone call to that number
simply by pressing

( ).
●
You can only set Automatic display for one phone number. You cannot set automatic display for mail address.
● You cannot specify the UIM phonebook and Choku-Den.

The setting is canceled and the star “ ★ ” disappears.

Storing the Phonebook at the Data Security Center
You can store the FOMA terminal phonebook at the DoCoMo Data Security Center. The stored phonebook
can be restored to the FOMA terminal or updated by connecting to the Data Security Center.
● Data Security Service is a pay service you need to apply for. If you have not subscribed to the service and try to
connect to the Data Security Center, the notification screen appears.
●
You cannot use the Data Security Service when “ ” appears.
● For details on how to use the Data Security Service, refer to “Mobile Phone User’s Guide 【 i-mode 】 ”.
