4.2 Configuring ALIGN with SPAN

Before configuring the ALIGN solution, the two receivers should both be powered on and connected directly
between COM 2 of the SPAN receiver and COM 2 of the second receiver through either a null modem cable or an
appropriate radio connection. For dual antenna receivers, such as the OEM7720 and PwrPak7D, the receiver
must be powered on.

COM2 is the default COM port for ALIGN. If the default COM ports are changed using the

INSALIGNCONFIG

command, connect the COM ports that are specified by the

INSALIGNCONFIG

command.
