INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE OPTIONAL UNIT

Lift the right end of the film strip.

Gently remove a notch from the
film strip for the optional unit
connector.

Change the DIP switch settings
of the printer.

Change the settings as they apply to peeling
mode, referring to step 6 in “3.1 Operation
Checks During Installation” on page 3-2.

Replace the film strip in its
original position.

Position the film strip, aligning it to the
groove.

The left end of the
film strip is secured
by the tape. The strip
may become
distorted if it is bent
excessively.
