2.2.1

Operating in online mode

Turning on the power automatically brings the system online.
When the printer is “online” the following procedures are possible.

■ Data transmitted from the computer to the printer can be printed.

■ The “ONLINE” button can be pressed to toggle to "offline” mode and deliberately

interrupt printing if printing is in process.

Online mode

To enter online mode, proceed as follows:

Switching to online mode

Press the “ONLINE” button.

The ONLINE light comes on.
If print data still remains in the printer’s
memory, printing resumes.

* If an error occurs, the ERROR light

illuminates and a number other than “0”
appears in the error display area. The
printer can return to online mode only
after the error has been cancelled and
when the ONLINE button is pressed.
Cancel the error before bringing the
printer online.
