MAINTENANCE

Move the thermal head up and
down.

Move the thermal head up and down until it
clicks. Then make sure that the thermal head
operates smoothly.

Install the thermal transfer
ribbon.

Lock the arm unit.

Lower the arm unit. Then press where it
says "PUSH” on either side to lock the arm
unit.

If the arm unit does not lock the first time,
press “PUSH" again to lock it.

Close the top cover.

For information on how
to install the thermal
transfer ribbon, refer to
“Installing the Thermal
Transfer Ribbon” on
page 1-8.
