6. Maintenance

AUTOMATIC PETRO PYROLYSIS MERCURY ANALYZER – MERCURY/PE-1000

No.600-2111-09

Cleaning the fluorescence cell

(1) Remove L joint on the right of a fluorescence cell.

(2) Remove four screws of the right side, and remove the board.

(3) Remove two front screws of right side.

(4) Remove four front screws and a front board.

(5) Wipe the inside and the transparent field of a cell with the swab, which attached

ethanol.

(6) Place a fluorescence cell so that the side on which the film is stuck becomes front

side and the bottom, and insert packing over left-hand side.

* Be careful not to attach a fingerprint etc. to a transparent area in the case of work.

(7) Attach packing, a joint and right side board, and tighten screws lightly.

(8) Attach a front board and tighten left-side screws.

(9) Tighten the screws of the front and a right side.

(10) Tighten the screws of the front and a right side little by little equally.
