4.  Installing  the  equipment 

  AUTOMATIC PETRO PYROLYSIS MERCURY ANALYZER – MERCURY/PE-1000 

21 

No.600-2111-09 

(2)  Double click the icon on the desktop to start PE1000Win. 
(3)  Select [System (S)] – [Comm Port Set (C) on the PE1000Win Menu bar, and open 

the Communication Port Setting window. 

 

 

 

 

(4)  Select the communication port checked in Step (1) and click OK to apply the 

setting. 

 

 

 

(5)  Close PE1000Win and restart it for the setting to take effect. 

*The port number changes depending on the port to which the USB-Serial Converter is 
connected. Note that the setting needs be made again if the converter is connected to 
another port. 

 Setting of System 

Click [System]-[Setup] from the menu. 

 

 

 

 

*Select "without", when you do not use a sample changer.
